Account Settings
Go to Settings in the sidebar (/panel/settings) to manage your personal account. Settings has three tabs: Account, Security, and Configuration.
Account Tab
Display Name
Your display name is shown in the sidebar and in any activity attributed to your account.
- Click into the Display Name field
- Type your new name
- Click Update Name
The button is only enabled when the name differs from your current one.
Email Address
Your email address is shown read-only. It cannot be changed directly from this page.
Next to your email you will see one of two badges:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified | Your email has been confirmed |
| Not Verified | Your email has not been confirmed yet |
If your email is not verified, click Send Verification Link. A confirmation email will be sent to your address. Click the link inside it to verify.
Security Tab: Changing Your Password
- Go to the Security tab
- Fill in the three fields:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Current Password | Your existing password |
| New Password | At least 8 characters |
| Confirm New Password | Must match the new password exactly |
- Click Update Password
If the current password is incorrect, or the new passwords do not match, an error message will appear and no change will be made.
If you have forgotten your current password, sign out and use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page to reset it via email.
Configuration Tab
The Configuration tab contains your Categories manager. It is a quick way to create, edit, and delete the categories used to organise your events, without leaving the Settings page.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Create | Click New Category, fill in the name (required) and an optional description, then click Create |
| Edit | Click the edit icon on any category row |
| Delete | Click the delete icon. A confirmation dialog will appear |
System-default categories (marked with a Default badge) cannot be deleted.
Organisation Settings
When you are working inside an Organisation, the Settings page is replaced by Organisation Settings at /panel/organization/settings. It has the same three-tab layout but operates on the organisation rather than your personal account:
- Account tab: Edit the organisation name
- Security tab: Placeholder (coming soon)
- Configuration tab: Same category manager scoped to the organisation
